About the artist..
Dave Mata is an artist/designer who lives in Chicago. Mata is known publicly for his vinyl dj sets ranging from tropical to local, simultaneously spanning several decades. In 2015 he debuted his sound system at the MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago) and has since only brought it out for a few community and nightlife events. Mata is also the creative director of the Royal Hands brand, a company that releases music, objects, and coordinates events for outside entities.
The Boom Bap

Beginning as a monthly hip hop round robin in Nashville TN, The Boom Bap has quickly spun itself into a power house, encompassing multiple city residences and involving some of the worlds foremost party rocking DJs. Three residents are joined by guests DJs and a host, rotating every five songs on two sets of turntables. Records are played and played with. Crowds collectively lose their minds.

His signature “Future Ghetto” brand weaves together elements of house, hip-hop/rap, and trap to create a unique, forward-thinking sound.
Waveclub is a Deep Tropics event series that brings Nashville together at unique outdoor venues throughout the summer.
It’s a celebration of forward-thinking electronic music and local culture. These iconic all-day pool parties lead up to Deep Tropics Music Art & Style Festival in August, but each Waveclub stands alone.
Each party boasts multiple stages of music from international producers and DJs as well as Nashville’s favorite tastemakers.
Food and beverage vendors keep us happy and hydrated as a day of poolside revelry unfolds on the grounds of a private estate. Waveclub is open to all Tropic Travelers, but the venue is private. We keep the mystique and privacy of the venue sacred while promoting inclusivity and green initiatives.
Waveclub is better experienced than explained, and we hope to see you there in May.
